A College goal, as well as one of my own presidential goals as approved by the Board or Trustees for the 2008-09 academic year, pertains to campus safety.
BC3 took a major step in its proactive safety plan when our Board of Trustees approved a firearms policy for campus police. The policy was approved at the September Trustees meeting and includes proper training opportunities for our police department. Read the rest of this entry »

Fallen Tree on BC3 Main Campus
As you know, remnants from Hurricane Ike travelled to Butler County Sunday evening. BC3’s main campus was bit especially hard, while our off-campus locations were spared.

Undoubtedly, one of the best privileges we have as United States citizens is the right to vote.

BC3 Pioneer Athletics
Today is a college football Saturday. One of my alma maters, Penn State, is hosting Oregon State University.

Labor Day is on the calendar to pay tribute to those workers who make America so great.
We have many working students at BC3. I admire you juggling the rigors of college with the demands of employment.
